Oh no Lefty. That is not how you start chopping at this lead. A hooked tee shot from Phil Mickelson on the par-three fourth finds sand, the chip is short, the putt is short, it's bogey. Back to one under, 13 off the pace. Now then, what for our prime ...

When Bradley got his phone two years ago, we had an agreement that the phone doesn’t sleep in his bedroom. This means that every night, before he goes to bed, the phone is brought into the lounge or our bedroom, and that’s where it stays. He ended up charging the phone overnight because the Samsung’s battery was so awful, and we didn’t worry too much because he was really only playing games on the phone. On Thursday night, he plugged his phone into my laptop to charge, and then forgot about it. The phone only stopped buzzing at 10pm. There were about 3 kids actively chatting until that time. He’s only 11 years old, and so are the friends he’s talking to. What on earth are they doing awake at that time of night. Seriously, there’s no need to let your kids keep their phones in their bedrooms at night. If they want it for an alarm clock, then buy them an alarm clock. So poor Bradley now has the rule strictly imposed… there’s no way that phone is sleeping in his room now. On the subject of alarm clocks though, Santa brought awesome Lego alarm clocks for them…. I don’t think Megan even has any of her friends’ phone numbers… And when she spent some of the December holiday with a friend, I could never reach her on her phone – I had to keep calling the friend’s mom’s phone to speak to her.
If you’ve been keeping up with my pregnancy updates, you’ll know that the end of my pregnancy was full of anxiety and anticipation, especially since my due date came and went by more than a week. Here is how our day went on January 4th, the day that changed everything. My husband and I decided to just go about our Sunday as normal: A trip to Balboa Park followed by a trip to Ikea. 10:00am: We arrived at Balboa Park and proceeded to stroll around the museums while spending couples time too. We strolled around the Botanical Gardens and then admired some interesting architectural models at the Mingei Museum only to pause for a pleasant lunch of chicken burritos. 12:00pm: Got done with lunch and proceeded downstairs toward the Model Railroad Museum, which we absolutely LOVE. On the way down the stairs, I felt some sudden pain and cramping in my lower abdomen which threw me off a bit. Once we got to the base of the stairs, I decided it was a great time to “tap out” in the bathroom. After I finished my business, I stepped out of the bathroom and started to walk toward my husband when all of a sudden I felt a slight gush of liquid in my pants. It was a bit embarrassing and a bit off-putting but I decided to go about the museum as normal.
