The finished product was beautiful. The staining looked great, the numbers on the clock face lined up perfectly When I hung the clock on the wall and attached the pendulum, it did nothing. The pendulum swung once and stopped. The gears never moved....

Meeting for the third time in a fortnight with a fourth lined up this Wednesday in the FA Youth Cup, the Blues went behind early to a Shayon Harrison goal but were quickly on terms through Ruben Sammut’s first of the season. Iké Ugbo’s brace either side of a reply by Harrison saw Joe Edwards’ side take a 3-2 lead into the break but two more from Harrison ensured the hosts retook the lead before the hour. Jared Thompson deputised for Brad Collins in goal but Jake Clarke-Salter captained the team in a back four that also saw starts for Charlie Wakefield, Ali Suljic and Josh Grant. Sammut and Mukhtar Ali were joined in midfield by Jeremie Boga, with Charly Musonda and Kasey Palmer also included behind Ugbo in attack. It had the look of an exercise aimed at building confidence and form with a big midweek performance required but Chelsea got off to the worst possible start as they found themselves a goal behind inside five minutes. Tottenham’s approach play down the right was neat and tidy but not especially threatening until the Blues let them stroll into the box, and before they could react to the impending danger Harrison had swept home his 14th league goal of the season.
There are lots of other things in the book too, like sweaters and stuff. I really like the book. Two thumbs up. I love Nicki Trench's crochet books, which I've said here before. I WILL be making a few things out of this book some day when I've honed my knitting skills and knowledge a little more (a lot more). I wish I'd get my KP order so I could finish that baby sweater. What's up with your sporadic shipping times, Knit Picks. I know they monitor social media for comments like that and usually respond. I'd like to know why they're like that. I know it gets old hearing me bitch about the same old thing. Now I want a wedge salad. I've done fair isle, you can do it. I did a gorgeous colorful fair isle knit and made it into a bag. And I want to go on road trip today to the beach and my hubby's back hurts and he doesn't want to go. wah. I've only done a few fair isle projects. I love that washcloth and baby blanket especially though. We share a lot of the same loves Pammy Sue. I have angels all over my house and believe that their are angels looking out for each one of us. Today I had lunch with 11 ladies from our church and we had a lovely time. Another thing I love, time with friends.
I ask because I call my mom EvaP. I used to call my dad Joe. The story my mom tells about dad is that I used to hear everyone call him Joe so I did from when I was just 2 or so. As the years went on I did say dad and mom until one day it became Joe and Evap. I have no time line to finish this so it is a stitch or two here and there. I will soon pull out my JCS mags and try, try I say because I do enjoy looking, to pick out a couple to do. I now have the digital JCS so it will take up less file space. On to the clock doctor. as nice a clock as it is, it is 20 years old and not really worth putting money into it. So Just before I left for work yesterday, Mr H said he was going to look into it. I will remind you he no clock repair experience. here is the clock face, the pendulum and the works. You are wondering where the housing is, well it is back up on the wall and looks very nice. at least until I find another clock that will chime for me. Now onto the printer. Since the HP is 3 years old, it is more cost effective to buy a new on than to try to fix it so says the Geek Squad. so off to Best Buy we went and home with a new printer, this time an Epson.
