The first new watch face presents a time-lapse of 5 different cities which can be customized in the watch face’s settings. There’s also a new Photo Album face which will display random pictures each time you look at the watch from an album synced to Apple Watch and finally, we have a single “Photo” watch face. This is my favorite because it basically allows you to customize your own watch face background with anything available in your photos. Next up, we have nightstand mode which will present a pleasant clock while your Apple Watch is charging and laying on its side. Unfortunately if you use a dock, depending on the model, it may not allow for this charging orientation, but it’s a nice little feature to have. You can even use the Digital Crown and side button to control the snooze and off functionality for your set alarms. Speaking of friends, if you use any Digital Touch features with your contacts, you’ll be happy to know that Apple has added support for multiple colors in drawings. If you start a Digital Touch drawing, all you’ll need to do is tap on the color selector, choose a new color, and resume your masterpiece. Time Travel is a new feature that allows you to twist the digital crown, speed up the clock and reveal calendar events and other details planned throughout the day in real-time.
The UP3 was supposed to be so much better . It was supposed to be fashion-forward. It was supposed to be more intelligent than any other fitness tracker. I spent the last couple weeks trying to like this band, and I just can't do it. What Is It. The latest and supposedly greatest fitness tracker from Jawbone. " It's a wrist loop that tracks your activity and sleep as well as some more advanced biometrics such as your resting heart rate and respiration. The Fitbit Charge HR , because it was supposed to be waterproof and Jawbone was having some issues making that come true. Design Design is one of the elements that Jawbone really hyped up. It doesn't look like an activity tracker-it looks like a cool, refined wristband instead. I mean, I'll grant that it's the best-looking activity tracker out there, but it definitely still looks like an activity tracker. It's definitely more secure than the previous UP24, which didn't fully close and would fall off my wrist at least once a day (also, the large wasn't large enough), but unfortunately I still found the clasp to be wanting. In contrast, the only way the Charge HR is going to fall off your wrist is if your hand's cut off. Most other trackers with heart rate monitoring are using an optical mechanism which requires you wear it.
var tt_sections =... There are many ways to dock and display your iPhone. Most of them, however, become obsolete the moment you upgrade your phone. The Henge Docks Gravitas is designed specifically to grow with you. As we noted in our review last summer :. We later updated the review to include the release of an insert wide enough to accommodate third-party cases. This is important, because most of use a case of some sort, and having to remove the phone from the case just to dock it is annoying enough to stop us from using the dock altogether…or at least it is with me, anyway. As such, the inclusion of a third-party case was enough to raise our initial 4A rating to a 5A. The iPhone 6 came out soon thereafter, and Henge Docks was pretty quick to release the proper insert. This time, however, they were even smarter about it. The outer insert is wide enough to work with most third-party cases. Yes, you’re still fiddling with two pieces, but they’re pieces that work together, not separate of one another, making it easier to.
