Go Slow: How To Release Your Stress

For the past weeks I was barely a human being lurking around the Engineering Building, with dark circles under my eyes that awfully looked like a black eye, messy hair, exponentially grown pimples and 3 layers of eye bags I was a certified... I’ve been juggling to experiment, thesis, to-solve problems, write ups, final examination, and plant design for two consecutive weeks. Well, I cut off my body to pieces and equally distributed it to every school works that needs to be done. My thesis mate intended the 1 week of March conducting our experiment and the few remaining chapters of our thesis, Chapter 5 up to Glossary. Meanwhile, during free time, while they work on their Plant Design since the 3 of them were group mates, I was either working on Pet Prod problems or on my fair share of write up about our group’s proposed Plant. After thesis, my group mates in Plant Design started setting our very own design. I was on autopilot as well as my group mates that we were so restless and sluggish but not stopping ‘cause we were running under deadlines. Around 2AM we would drop whatever we were doing—be it cutting, gluing or measuring—to focus reviewing our notes for Finals. The moment we were through with all of the necessary requirements was a sheer bliss for I can finally unload my stress. If ever you feel stress as I am, here are a few tips how to de-stress:.
