Debbie@Debbie-Dabble and A Debbie-Dabble Christmas
I am a Victorian Soul, live in a small townhouse with my Hubby Joe, work full time night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit, have a small Craft Business on the side and I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT. George Eliot. George Eliot was actually a pen name for a woman named Mary Anne Evans. BLOGGING FOR FUN AND FRIENDSHIP. Did I mention that I cleaned and went through all my linens up in the attic and donated a good majority of curtains, tablecloths, bedspreads that I was saving for who knows what, to our Church Flea Market. I actually was able to clean out another section to use for Holiday decorations. This policy is valid from 11 July 2014. This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. And on Duddingwell's, I have done most of the paperclaying and started on landscaping. This is a real learning process for me. Not so much techniques, but just having the courage to start something and not worry about how it is going to look. I keep telling her that if I don't like it, I will be able to fix it. I used this soft air-dry clay on this house and it has yellowed over time. I do like aspects of it, but some parts, like the exterior, I'm not so sure about. So I am considering a few detail changes, but then I don't want to start from scratch, and I don't think this sort of clay is very changeable. I have to say that your English style house with all of the Fabulous Brickwork, is a real Stunner, and your letting go of your "inner perfectionist", looks to be paying off. I love the patina of the interior of your French sewing shop and the tiles in your laundry and your bathroom and especially the fittings that you have featured, are all lovely.
The red was still a bit to bright,so I toned with wintermist gray H20,once the red had dried. I used this on all the chipboard in these LO's. I will be copying & pasting this on to my future posts,to save time,as I am only about half way through this project,& I am using the same supply's trough out this project. Now I am going to share with you a before & after of a corner wall of our kitchen, plus all the LO's I have completed,so far for this project. I really did think I was done, after I did the Scraproom, but it took about 1 day, for me to take a look around my kitchen & decide there was to much going on,with all the different colors, through out my LO's against the wall. I had already received the Nyhan Collection from Maja Design,& discovered the grays in the Kings Square-BS,were the same grays, that I used through out the kitchen. So I decided to make all new LO's, for the kitchen, & as I am doing this, I am transferring these LO's to either the hallways or the family room, that also have shadow boxes, but the walls are a charcoal gray. A after photo, with LO's using the colors in the kitchen. I have about 160 shadow boxes,of LO's through out our home. I started this about 8 years ago, & goggled the shadow boxes, they are still out there MCS Industries INC shadow boxes.
