The clock maintains accurate time and the ticking does not interfere with sleep. The alarm is loud but not too harsh. I am pleased with this purchase.

Fulfills its purpose.

Loud for an alarm,it is not. If you have the slightest hearing problem, this alarm is not for you. I guarantee you will sleep through it ,unless you have the clock taped to your ear . I am very disappointed. Is there a Loud alarm out there? I do not think so.

Contrary to the description, the case is mostly plastic with only the back being metal.  The clock ran less than 24 hours on the first winding.  Keep in mind it was manufactured in China.  I purchased this for the guest bedroom as I had to throw out the last clock because the batteries corroded.  The alarm is loud but short.

Cheaply made.

Keys for winding are too small, difficult to wind and set times.

Works well enough. Haven't used or needed a wind-up alarm clock for a long time. This alarm is just loud enough (I wear ear plugs to sleep). Noted that clock has a very soft "tick" (not an issue for me). Clock and bell mechanism both wind in the counter clockwise direction (seems odd). Face doesn't glow as they once did but I think they have gotten away from that (another cancer risk). Don't expect clock to run much beyond 24 hours (maybe not even that) without re-winding. For $12, it does what I need.

Works (just).

After setting the alarm and clock times and winding both keys, I found that the alarm time setting moved with the arms of the clock. So after setting the alarm time for 6 o'clock, the next time I checked, it had moved to 8 o'clock which would have made me late for my appointment.  I returned the item.

You Get What You Pay For.....

i bought this clock for my father who wanted an old style wind up clock. he is 95 and just cannot learn how to set a digital clock and lives several states away. he just received it from me and it only ran 3 hours with the first wind. he said that he wound it til it stopped and and that was only about 4 turns and did not want to overwind. he is also having a problem getting the time adjustment right...always too fast or too slow. he said that it is supposed to be good for 3o or so hours on a single wind (not unusual) but it has never gone more than several hours at a time in about a 2 day period. he is going to work with it another day or so and if it still won't work more than a few hours it will be returned. i gave it an overall poor because although it was inexpensive and looks good and was easy to set up with anticipated features, the bottom line is that it doen't seem to work as expected.

old style clock not working as expected

The face of the clock was broken upon receiving.  I tried to do a return on the app and then was told at the store to cancel the purchase instead of return the item.  The store clerk stated they can't return a delivery item even though the return process told me to take it to the store.  Now I'm out money for a broken clock! I will state that this was one of two ordered and the other clock was good with no damage.  I like the clocks but not Walmart app's return policy.

Impossible to get money back for broken item.

We tried for a week to get the clock to work correctly but had absolutely no luck. It was suppose to run for thirty hours when wound completely it did not come close. When trying to wind the alarm it would start ringing as you were winding. We gave up and I returned the clock and got my old one back out. It isn't loud but keeps proper time and is easier to set the alarm.
