Wayward Pines is somehow getting EVEN CRAZIER, guys, and I love it. "Our Town, Our Law" was the episode where Pines really took the gloves off and what had been a simmering menace became open hostility, especially between Ethan Burke and Sheriff... After Burke saw the town lift its mask and reveal its nightmarish nature/ritualistically murder his one buddy in town, he decided to check in on Kate again. Because lovers can just tell when their lovers have dug a tracking chip out of their body and hidden it somewhere inside their house. Juliette Lewis’ body was the new resident of the dead house. Now I’ve seen some commenters coyly suggest (possibly via book spoilers) that Juliette Lewis might not be as dead as she seemed, but if she faked it, she's doing a damn thorough job. Burke then swung by her old house, and found it emptied out save for a cleaning crew that was getting it ready for the next family. Then he spied an international goods truck from Wyoming, and his "World Market" senses tingled: True international specialties, cheeses, and olives do not distribute from Wyoming. Meanwhile Theresa Burke and Ben Burke were continuing their Hunt For Dad across Idaho, and Ben was getting a little sassy about it. Theresa surprised all of us by proving she’d absorbed a few.
A group of young Jewish settlers who torced a historic church have been released without charge. Graffiti saying, “The false gods will be eliminated,” in Hebrew which is a quote from a common Jewish prayer was also daubed on a wall. The building suffered extensive damage, with the roof partly collapsed and stone walls charred. The church marks the Biblical story of the Feeding of the 5,000, in which Jesus fed a crowd with five loaves and two fish, and has been rebuilt several times since the fifth century.
A crowdfunding campaign for Greece started by a London shoe salesman has raised €1. 26 million ($1. 4 million), attracting more than 78,000 investors. com calling for donations to save the Greek economy – the goal is to raise the €1. 6 billion ($1. 8 billion) needed to pay Greece’s in-arrears debt to the International Monetary Fund. While many said the plan was foolish, Feeney’s ‘Greek Bailout Fund’ has seen a rush of charitable investors, enough to crash the entire crowdfunding platform on two occasions. “I was fed up of the Greek crisis going round in circles, while politicians are dithering, this is affecting real people. I just thought: ‘Sod it, I’ll have a crack’,” 29-year-old Feeney wrote on his crowdfunding page. Feeney states that Greece would be better letting “the people” decide its fate rather than European ministers. "The European Union is home to 503 million people, if we all just chip in a few euro then we can get Greece sorted and hopefully get them back on track soon. Crowdfunding projects must achieve their goals in order to receive the funds that have been raised, otherwise they are returned to the senders. Feeney offers some bonus gifts to investors – a €3 euro investment for a postcard of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, and €25 for a bottle of Greek wine.
