His total of 130 shots is lowest ever at halfway stage
Oh no Lefty. That is not how you start chopping at this lead. A hooked tee shot from Phil Mickelson on the par-three fourth finds sand, the chip is short, the putt is short, it's bogey. Back to one under, 13 off the pace. Now then, what for our prime ...

Having slept so well for most of this trip, I had one of those awful restless legs hot and cold sort of nights only to be woken with a piercing whine at just after six. I had tried to set the alarm on my mini-ipad for the first time last night, and very carefully chosen a peaceful tone to wake up to. Not a piercing whine. Even turning the ipad off did not seem to work. Then I realised it was not coming from the ipad at all but from the hotel's alarm clock, which was not even plugged in and I certainly had not programmed it to take part in any games at all. Not a good start to any morning, but it was just about to get even worse, when I started throwing up big time, with the other thing too. I have barely ever felt so awful and after a few hours wondered if I would have to call a doctor. We were due at Hearst Castle for tour number 2 to see the upstairs rooms, but we both realised that was not going to work, so Jette left me to expunge and drove over there to get a refund. In a wonderful brief 10 minute window when I felt almost normal, I dressed and packed, and we set off very gingerly. They were close enough to see with the naked eye, which was fortunate as I was not going anywhere.
I wake at 5:30 most mornings—usually before the jarring shriek of the alarm clock—but this morning, Saturday and off from the day job, I’m here pecking away at 3am. Unable to sleep, there are too many thoughts rolling through my consciousness,... On work days I write until about 7:30am and therein begins the hardest and most difficult hour of my day—when I am forced to stop writing and get ready for the job that pays the bills and keeps food on the table. There comes to me a dilemma each of those days, a tearing of my soul and a twisting of my equilibrium when I have to stop writing. Many times, that is what a writer does: observe other people’s reaction to living that can one day be used in a description or a basic idea or trait within one’s writing. raised a family, worked since I was 15 years old, traveled to Europe several times—all of which is fodder for future writing. I guess that is the point, at least for me: everything translates into my writing in one way or another, whether an obvious connection or a single thread weaved throughout the larger tapestry that is my life.

Their strawberry jam on toast is my Saturday morning indulgence combined with a coffee and no alarm clock, so I jumped at the chance. The dulce de leche caramel spread cried out to me, and this little trifle was born. The crispy cookie crumbs mimic a graham cracker crust and contrast so well with the cream, banana and dulce de leche. Assemble a few hours ahead, store in the fridge and enjoy within 24 hours. dulce de leche banana cream trifle Ingredients:. 20 Nila crackers smashed into small chunks and crumbs (try a plastic bag and a rolling pin). 2 cups whipping cream. 1/3 of a jar Bonne Maman dulche de leche spread. Combine the cookies, salt and butter and bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Use beaters to whip the cream for 5 minutes or until fluffy, then add the vanilla and sugar. Once the cookie bits have cooled, layer cookie, banana, dulce de leche, cream and repeat, ending with whipped cream on top and some reserves of the cookie crumbles.
