The Ducks iced the puck with 1:24 on the clock and Bruce Boudreau called his timeout, but it didn't help. The Ducks did clear a couple of times, but with only 37.2 seconds remaining Chicago dumped it in and Toews a shot toward the net from literally ON ...

Previously we ranked the New York Rangers roster through the player with the 10th most present and future value to the team. Without further adieu, let’s take a look at the top nine valuable current New York Rangers. In addition, Miller found a spot on the first line in the postseason thanks to the absence of Mats Zuccarello. At just 22, Miller still has plenty of time to develop with the Rangers, and will surely get a second- or third-line spot this season with the big club. With his being under team control, his potential development, and status as a two way force, Miller should be a huge help to the Blueshirts moving forward. Rick Nash: Wondering how a 40-goal scorer could only clock in at the ninth spot. Nash surely will be one of the top two or three most valuable players for the next couple of seasons, but the winger will soon be exiting his prime and is only under contract for three more seasons. Mats Zuccarello: Recently signed to a four-year, team-friendly extension, Zuccarello should be a major piece in a potential championship winning puzzle for the Rangers.
A brace of tries by Fijian winger Waisake Naholo saw the Highlanders move into their first semifinal this millennium as they won an action-packed Vodacom Super Rugby qualifier 24-14 in Dunedin on Saturday. The home side saw that their first playoff match since 1999 was a massive celebration, as they staved off a strong Chiefs attack and struck when they needed to in a game played at a blistering pace and a superb advert for Southern Hemisphere rugby. In the end the Chiefs showed they are a dangerous side, but missed kicks at goal at crucial times by Andrew Horrell, and crucial handling errors in the second half stunted their progress on the scoreboard and ultimately saw them fall too far... And while the Chiefs had previously won the majority of games between the two sides at the stadium, this time around they didn’t have the game to send themselves into the semifinals. The early excitement was doused though when Naholo was adjudged to have touched the sideline in an early attack that led to Patrick Osborne touching down, and after an opening salvo of relentless attack, the home side would have been disappointed...
Silfverberg chipped it out of the zone to Tomas Fleischmann , they were joined by Kesler in the middle of the ice, Fleischmann found Kesler with a backhand pass and he was all all one in on Crawford, more or less, thanks to Johnny Oduya pressuring... Kesler shot it from the hash mark but Crawford just got the crook of his elbow on the shot and covered. Chicago did get a shot on goal with just over three minutes left in the period. I don't think I'll officially dub it the best period of the Ducks' playoffs so far, because the third of Game 5 vs. Calgary was outstanding, but I'll go out on a limb and say it was probably Chicago's worst. Second Period Recap: Everyone and their mother knew that Chicago wasn't going to take that kind of period lying down, and they didn't. Only 1:11 into the middle frame, Teuvo Teravainen drew the Blackhawks within one on their first shot of the period. Teuvo carried into the zone, cut to the middle used Clayton Stoner as a screen and his shot got through Andersen's five hole. Chicago was looking for stretch passes left and right, but either couldn't connect or couldn't make much out of them early in the period,.

Wooden Sound Box LED Alarm Clock is Boxy, but Good
if you can believe it, the clock is just $55, and $40 of that is for shipping from China. (FWIW, this alarm clock may look a whole lot like Karlsson’s Cube, but the built-in media player gives this one the advantage.)
